Halloweens Past

Where has the time gone? I am sitting here today realizing that Rachel and Madison are not dressing up for Halloween this year and it is making me sick to my stomach. It seems like when I was a kid we were actually KIDS much longer than they were. I am sure I dressed up in 5th grade. I can't remember what I dressed up as but I am sure that I did. Rachel and Madison have decided to go to a party with their youth group tonight instead of going trick or treating with their younger sisters. I can't believe that this sounds more appealing..ha! I guess I should be happy that they are with a great group of kids and not running around vandalizing neighborhoods (like I probably did!) But I am still sad. I remember their first Halloween when they dressed up like monkeys. I remember their second Halloween when I hobbled slowly behind them because I was enormously pregnant and delivered Jordan 5 days later. I remember the year when they both dressed up like Dorothy and Madison decided to butcher her bangs the day before Halloween. After looking at herself in the mirror she said "I am going to be an UGLY Dorothy!" I am sad that there are some years when I can honestly say that I can't remember what they dressed up as. I am going to go find some candy corn and cry..
